Barb Smith writes, "Here are a couple of photos (only took two; having too much fun or freezing our buns off, not sure which!) of our most recent trip to Memphis and parts north over Thanksgiving.

Mike Murphy and I rode Houston to Memphis on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, then spent the holiday with his family. Early Friday morning we departed in freezing temps to head to Chester IL. I got my national park stamp there and we continued east toward Evansville IN for the night. High temps that day were high 30's, and by the time we got to the hotel, in the dark, temps had dipped below freezing (what would we ever do without electrics?!). Saturday we headed to Lincoln's boyhood home in Lincoln city IN, for another park stamp, then into Kentucky to Land Between the Lakes. We returned to Memphis Saturday night and returned to Houston on Sunday.
